Specifically, at noon on August 2, SJC gold bars recorded a buying price of 121.5 million VND/tael, selling price of 123.5 million VND/tael, an increase of 1.6 million VND/tael for buying and 2.1 million VND/tael for selling compared to yesterday. Thus, the price of gold bars has officially broken a new record in 2025 (the previous record price was 122.8 million VND/tael recorded in May 2025). The difference between the buying and selling prices of SJC gold bars has increased to 2 million VND/tael.

In Tran Bien ward, the price of Au Vang Phuc Long gold bars of Doji Gold and Jewelry Group is 121.5 million VND/tael for buying and 123.5 million VND/tael for selling, an increase of 1.6 million VND/tael for buying and 2.1 million VND/tael for selling compared to yesterday. The price of PNJ gold bars is 117-119.5 million VND/tael for buying and selling, an increase of 1 million VND/tael compared to last week.

Similarly, the prices of gold rings have also increased. Currently, the 9999 round ring (Hung Thinh Vuong) of Doji Gold and Silver Jewelry Group has a buying price of 11.7 million VND/tael, selling price of 11.95 million VND/tael (equivalent to 119.5 million VND/tael), an increase of 100 thousand VND/tael (equivalent to 1 million VND/tael) compared to yesterday. The SJC 9999 plain ring has a buying price - selling price of 11.65-11.9 million VND/tael respectively. The price of PNJ plain ring is currently buying price - selling price of 11.7-11.95 million VND/tael.
