According to the Hanoi Drainage Company Limited, early this morning (May 24), there was heavy rain in Hanoi. The total rainfall measured at monitoring stations in Me Linh district was 36.4mm, Dong Anh 34.4mm, Dan Phuong 24.4mm, Hoan Kiem 23.7mm, Long Bien 18.5mm… However, no flooding occurred on Hanoi's streets.

The Northern Delta Regional Hydrometeorological Station forecasts that, due to the influence of a low-pressure trough passing through the southern part of the Northern Delta, tonight and tomorrow morning (May 25th), Hanoi will experience scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some areas experiencing heavy rain with rainfall amounts of 10-30mm/24h; the rain will start in the districts of Ba Vi, Thach That, Quoc Oai, and Chuong My; the weather will be mild with temperatures ranging from 25-27 degrees Celsius.

Tomorrow afternoon, Hanoi will experience little rain, with temperatures rising to a maximum of 31-33 degrees Celsius, and 32-34 degrees Celsius in the city center. This weather pattern in Hanoi will continue until May 26th.

From May 27th, the low-pressure system in the West tends to develop and expand towards the Southeast. Therefore, Hanoi will experience scattered showers in the late afternoon and evening, with sunshine during the midday and afternoon; temperatures will gradually rise, reaching hot temperatures during the midday and afternoon of May 29th, 30th, and 31st, with maximum temperatures of 35-37 degrees Celsius.
