Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai requested localities to continue to maintain and improve the quality of the following criteria, striving to build advanced new rural communes and model new rural areas.
Tho Dien Commune (Vu Quang) is one of the localities after the merger recognized as meeting new rural standards in this period.
Based on Document No. 5424/BNN-VPĐP dated August 9, 2023 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on the implementation of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction for the period 2021-2025 for district and commune-level administrative units formed after the rearrangement, on December 20, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai signed Decision No. 3368/QD-UBND on recognizing the communes formed after the merger in Ha Tinh to meet the New Rural Standards in 2023.
Accordingly, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee recognized 16 communes formed after the merger as meeting NTM standards, including: Yen Hoa, Nam Phuc Thang (Cam Xuyen); Khanh Vinh Yen, Kim Song Truong (Can Loc); Tung Chau, An Dung, Tan Dan, Hoa Lac (Duc Tho); Tan My Ha, Kim Hoa, An Hoa Thinh, Quang Diem (Huong Son); Binh An (Loc Ha); Dinh Ban (Thach Ha); Dong Mon (Ha Tinh City); Tho Dien (Vu Quang).
Dinh Ban Commune (Thach Ha) continues to improve the quality of criteria, striving to meet advanced standards.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the People's Committees of districts and cities to direct communes to develop specific plans, continue to maintain and improve the quality of criteria after reaching the standards, strive to build advanced new-style rural communes, model new-style rural areas, in order to continuously improve the quality of life of rural people, ensure sustainable growth and development; departments and branches strengthen inspection, guidance and supervision of localities to maintain and improve the quality of criteria of the sectors in charge to ensure sustainable standards.
It is known that other communes that are merged do not have to be recognized as meeting standards because they have been recognized as meeting standards before or have been recognized/qualified to submit for voting to meet advanced new rural standards.
