The People's Committee of Hai Phong city has just issued a Plan to organize activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

Organizing commemorative activities to affirm the position, great stature, and great historical value of the August Revolution in the history of the nation's struggle to build and defend the country; affirming the correct and wise leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the great President Ho Chi Minh in the cause of national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland; the great and historically significant achievements of the country in 80 years of building and defending the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam.

At the same time, through activities to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere among all classes of people; at the same time, arouse patriotism, historical traditions, the spirit of great solidarity, pride, national self-reliance, contributing to consolidating and fostering people's confidence in the cause of national construction and defense, innovation and international integration under the leadership of the Party; affirming the great and outstanding achievements of the Party Committee, government, army and people of the city in the process of fighting, building and developing.
