Dr. Nguyen Ha Thanh and Dr. Do Quang Loc are two candidates proposed to be recognized as the youngest associate professor in 2025.

According to the list of candidates proposed by the Council of Professors for recognition as meeting the standards for the title of professor and associate professor in 2025, the two youngest associate professor candidates were both born in 1992.

They are Dr. Nguyen Ha Thanh - senior researcher at the Pharmaceutical Chemistry Department - Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (candidate for associate professor of chemistry), and Dr. Do Quang Loc - lecturer at the University of Technology, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (candidate for physics).

Dr. Nguyen Ha Thanh, from Thanh Hoa, graduated with a bachelor's degree in chemistry from the University of Natural Sciences, Vietnam National University, Hanoi in 2015. In 2020, he was awarded a doctorate in chemistry (majoring in molecular and macromolecular chemistry), University of Rennes 1, France.

From May 2022 to July 2022, Dr. Nguyen Ha Thanh did postdoctoral research at the University of Rennes 1. From November 2024 to present, he is a senior researcher at the Pharmaceutical Chemistry Department - Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.

After being recognized as a doctor, Dr. Nguyen Ha Thanh has presided over 6 scientific and technological tasks, publishing nearly 40 scientific articles.

Dr. Do Quang Loc, from Lang Son , graduated from university with a degree in physics (majoring in modern electronic engineering) in 2014, and in 2019 was awarded a PhD in physics (majoring in radio physics and electronics) from the University of Science, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

Dr. Do Quang Loc has completed 1 state-level scientific research project, 1 ministerial-level project, and 2 grassroots-level projects. He has published 78 scientific articles, including 36 scientific articles in prestigious international journals.

From 2016 to December 2024, Dr. Do Quang Loc spent time doing scientific research and teaching at the University of Science, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

From January 2025 to July 2025, Dr. Do Quang Loc was a lecturer at the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications, University of Technology, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

Dr. Do Quang Loc also has outstanding achievements such as second prize in physics in the national excellent student exam in 2010; title of outstanding young teacher in 2021; excellent achievements in scientific research and innovation in 2023; actively participating in the organization of the 25th National Physics Olympiad for students in 2023; emulation soldier at the ministerial level in the 2022 - 2023 school year...
