Ham Thuan Bac: Launching the peak period of "50 days to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the district"

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Truong Minh Quang - Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, member of the Provincial Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses; Mr. Dang Thanh Phuc - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ham Thuan Bac District, Deputy Head of the District Steering Committee, along with members of the District Steering Committee, households receiving housing support and youth union members.

As of March 26, 2025, Ham Thuan Bac district has completed 122/148 houses for households with revolutionary contributions, poor households, near-poor households and other disadvantaged households, reaching 82.4% of the plan. Of which, 78 houses/148 were completed, reaching 52.7% (3 houses built, 75 houses repaired), 44 houses are under construction. 26 houses have not been completed (8 houses built, 18 houses repaired). Specifically, for households with revolutionary contributions, 65/91 houses have been completed, reaching 71.4% of the plan. Of which, 57 houses were completed, reaching 62.6% (3 houses built, 54 houses repaired), 8 houses are under construction. 26 houses have not been completed (8 houses built, 18 houses repaired). Poor households, near-poor households and other disadvantaged households have completed 57/57 houses, reaching 100%. In addition, there are currently 78 households still stuck in legal procedures regarding land.

Launching the peak campaign of "50 days to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the district", Mr. Dang Thanh Phuc - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ham Thuan Bac district, Deputy Head of the District Steering Committee requested all levels, sectors, businessmen; each cadre, party member, civil servant, public employee and all people of the district to promote and spread the tradition of mutual support, solidarity, "mutual love" of the Vietnamese people, through practical actions, join hands to successfully implement the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the district. With the motto "Whoever has something to contribute, whoever has merit contributes merit, whoever has property contributes property, whoever has a lot contributes a lot, whoever has little contributes a little", each person and each organization, based on their functions and tasks, promotes their full potential, enthusiasm, responsibility, initiative, creativity, and flexibility to join hands and contribute to create a widespread, substantive, and effective movement to successfully achieve the goal of completely eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for people in the district.

Along with that, the Party Committee and authorities from the district to the commune focused on leading and directing the mobilization of resources to synchronously deploy solutions to soon have more new houses, helping people "settle down and start a business". At the same time, through that, contributing to propaganda,education , and arousing the spirit of great national unity; practically celebrating the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Ham Thuan homeland (April 8, 1975 - April 8, 2025)...
