On January 3, Dong Xoai City Police, Binh Phuoc Province, are consolidating files to handle 15 cases of organizing "storming" after the victory of the Vietnamese team over Thailand at the ASEAN Cup 2024.

Police temporarily detained many violating vehicles.

Previously, at around 10pm on January 2, after the first leg final match between Vietnam and Thailand (ASEAN Cup 2024), the Traffic Police Team of Dong Xoai City Police was deployed to patrol and handle traffic law violators. At this time, the working group discovered many "speed demons" preparing to "go on a rampage" so they conducted an administrative inspection.

A case was severely punished as a deterrent.

Through inspection, the working group handled 15 cases of motorbikes arbitrarily changing their structure, some cases of drivers using alcohol, being underage, not having a driver's license... Among them, some subjects also drove with their exhausts revved, drove on one wheel... causing danger to road users.

The Traffic Police Team of Dong Xoai City Police has drawn up a record to temporarily detain all vehicles and confiscate 1 motorbike according to Decree No. 168/2024 regulating administrative penalties for violations in the field of road traffic, deducting points, and restoring driving license points, which has just taken effect from January 1, 2025.
