Provincial Tourism Association: Implementing the 2025 activity plan.

In 2024, the Ninh Thuan Provincial Tourism Association successfully fulfilled its assigned functions and tasks. It consistently focused on inviting and connecting tourism businesses within the province to participate and develop its membership. To date, the Association has 98 members. In addition, the Association actively participated in social welfare activities, contributing 200 million VND to support people in the North affected by Typhoon Yagi. Notably, Ninh Thuan's tourism sector achieved significant results in 2024, with an estimated 3.46 million visitors, a 19.3% increase compared to the same period and reaching 108.1% of the plan; social income from tourism activities was estimated at 3,900 billion VND.

This achievement is thanks to the significant contributions of the Association and tourism service businesses in the province, most notably their active participation in organizing events such as: the 20th Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival, the Vietnam International Tourism Fair VITM Hanoi 2024, Ninh Thuan Culture and Tourism Day in Da Nang, the 18th Ho Chi Minh City International Tourism Fair, tourism surveys in China, and collaborations in tourism promotion with Gwangju, Seoul, Jeju (South Korea), and Kerala state in India, etc. In addition, the Association successfully organized the 3rd Congress of the Ninh Thuan Provincial Tourism Association (2024-2029), strengthening the Association and contributing to the development of Ninh Thuan tourism in the future.

To enhance the effectiveness of the Ninh Thuan Provincial Tourism Association in 2025, contributing to achieving and exceeding the province's tourism development targets, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Association to continue advising and proposing solutions, focusing on implementing the following: Continuing to coordinate with the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion to strengthen tourism promotion and advertising both domestically and internationally, especially targeting key international tourist markets to Ninh Thuan such as China, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and India; coordinating the organization of the 12th Vietnam-Taiwan (China) Tourism Cooperation Conference in Ninh Thuan province, tentatively scheduled for October 2025; participating in Ninh Thuan tourism promotion fairs and conferences, and domestic and international Famtrip and Presstrip delegations. At the same time, the province will organize tourism professional training courses in 2025 for businesses and units operating tourism services in the province, contributing to improving the quality of tourism services at tourist areas and destinations, helping to attract tourists and develop tourism into a truly key economic sector of the province.

Continue to coordinate with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and other departments, agencies, and localities to successfully organize events such as: Ninh Thuan Culture and Tourism Day in the Central Highlands in 2025; the 6th Cham Ethnic Culture Festival in Ninh Thuan in 2025; the Katê Festival; the Ninh Thuan Kiteboarding Championship in 2025; the Ninh Thuan Open Golf Tournament in 2025; the Ninh Thuan New Year's Eve Program 2026, etc. Continue to promote the role of a bridge between the tourism business community and state management agencies; build a civilized, healthy, and lawful business environment, and protect the rights of tourism businesses in the province. Strengthen linkages and cooperation between tourism associations and domestic and international travel companies; create an environment for exchange and connection among members to cooperate and support each other in business activities. Timely implementation of cooperation agreements signed between the Provincial Tourism Association and domestic and international organizations.

Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, Standing Committee member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, presented the certificate of commendation from the Vietnam Tourism Association to the collective with outstanding achievements.

Directing affiliated branches to develop plans and organize branch activities, while also researching the possibility of establishing more affiliated branches to promote the initiative and creativity of members. Encouraging members to invest in modern and integrated infrastructure, improve the quality of tourism services, and diversify service products; promoting investment in rest stops, entertainment, shopping, and recreational services; and building a professional staff to contribute to making Ninh Thuan a safe, attractive, and friendly tourist destination. Mobilizing members and businesses to strengthen training, apply information technology, and promote digital transformation in their tourism operations.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Tourism Association awarded certificates of merit to one collective and two individuals for their outstanding achievements in directing and organizing the activities of the Ninh Thuan Provincial Tourism Association in 2024, actively participating in the Association's activities, and contributing to the development of tourism in Ninh Thuan province and Vietnam.
