Support Humanitarian House for households in difficulty due to natural disasters in Kim Thuong commune

On May 15, the Provincial Red Cross Society coordinated with the Da Nang City Red Cross Society and the sponsoring unit to organize the handover of 13 humanitarian houses to poor and near-poor households in especially difficult circumstances affected by storm No. 3 (Yagi) in Nhang area, Kim Thuong commune, Tan Son district.

Representatives of the provincial Red Cross Society and sponsors presented funds and gifts to the families.

Through connecting and mobilizing resources, the Provincial Red Cross Society has joined hands to support families in building 13 new houses with a total construction cost of over 5 billion VND. Of which, the Da Nang City Red Cross Society, ÀLAVI Group Joint Stock Company, and VNB Cosmetics supported 880 million VND; the GNI delegation 90 million VND; Thanh Nien Newspaper 140 million VND; Vietcombank 150 million VND; support from the Relief Mobilization Committee over 1.3 billion VND... Through the Society, each household received support from 60 to 80 million VND.

Delegates attended the inauguration of humanitarian houses in Nhang area, Kim Thuong commune, Tan Son district.

New houses are a source of motivation to help people have a place to "settle down - work", stable accommodation, overcome difficulties and at the same time demonstrate the spirit of "mutual love and support" of the community.
