After 6 hours of intense competition involving over 200 athletes, the championship title of the 5th Annual "Joining Hands for Road Safety" Golf Tournament 2024 was awarded to golfer Hoang Quan with a score of 72 strokes.

After winning, Hoang Quan said: "I am very happy to have won. The 'Joining Hands for Traffic Safety' golf tournament organized by Giao Thong Newspaper is truly meaningful as each player contributes to alleviating the pain of traffic accidents. I hope the tournament will continue to be maintained and developed further in the future."
In addition, the organizers also awarded several other prizes, including: best female golfer with the best net score (Le Hong Anh), first place in Group A (Duong Cong Ke), first place in Group B (Pham Thanh Hoai), and first place in Group C (Tran Thanh Long). There were also technical awards: closest to the pin (Le Thanh Tung, Phan Trong Hieu, Tran Ngoc Anh, Can Van Son, Ngo Minh Tuan, Tran Manh Quyet), longest drive (Jaems, Vu Quy Phan, Nguyen Thanh Thuy, Phan Quoc Hieu), and closest to the line (Nguyen Dai Duong, Tran Tuan Hai).

At the awards ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Nga, Editor-in-Chief of Giao Thong Newspaper and Head of the Organizing Committee, on behalf of the "Joining Hands for Traffic Safety" program, awarded 50 scholarships, each worth 2 million VND, to students who are relatives of traffic accident victims and come from disadvantaged backgrounds. In addition, the program, through the Ninh Binh Provincial Traffic Safety Committee, also awarded 50 scholarships, each worth 2 million VND, to students whose relatives were traffic accident victims in the province.
