On April 8th, the Naval Academy, in collaboration with Tan Lap 2 Primary School (Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province), organized an information session on the sea and islands for over 900 officers, teachers, staff, and students.

The information content focuses on clarifying the advantages, difficulties, opportunities, and challenges for Vietnam in implementing its maritime strategy; disseminating international and Vietnamese laws on the sea and islands; the legal basis affirming Vietnam's sovereignty over the sea, islands, and archipelagos in the East Sea; the recent situation in the East Sea, and the views and policies of the Party, State, Army, and Navy in fulfilling the task of protecting the sovereignty of the Fatherland's sea and islands.

The information dissemination aims to raise awareness among officials, teachers, staff, and students about the strategic role and importance of Vietnam's seas and islands; and to strengthen patriotic education and the awareness of protecting the sovereignty of the homeland's seas and islands.
