On April 8, the Naval Academy coordinated with Tan Lap 2 Primary School (Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province) to organize information about the sea and islands for more than 900 officers, teachers, staff and students.

The information content focuses on clarifying the advantages, difficulties, opportunities and challenges for Vietnam in implementing the maritime strategy; disseminating international and Vietnamese laws on seas and islands; legal bases affirming Vietnam's sovereignty over seas, islands and archipelagos in the East Sea; the recent situation in the East Sea, the viewpoints and policies of the Party, State, Army and Navy in performing the task of protecting the sovereignty of the seas and islands of the Fatherland.

The information aims to raise awareness among cadres, teachers, staff and students about the role and strategic position of Vietnam's seas and islands; strengthen education on patriotism and awareness of protecting the sovereignty of the homeland's seas and islands.
