
Dr. Phan Van Hieu - Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology, Chairman of the Council, chaired the meeting.
In 2025, the Department of Science and Technology received 23 proposals for science and technology tasks in the field of agricultural science - specialized in crop cultivation sent by agencies, units, organizations and individuals in the province.
The Council will conduct its work in the order of Clauses 4, 5, 6 and 7, Article 7 of Circular No. 09/2024/TT-BKHCN, focusing on carefully assessing the urgency, applicability, socio-economic efficiency, and level of conformity with the province's sustainable agricultural development strategy.

Dr. Bui Quang Dang, Head of the Department of Science and International Cooperation, Vietnam Academy of Agricultural Sciences, spoke and discussed.

Dr. Nguyen Thi Mien, Head of the Department of Food Crops and High-tech Agriculture, Institute of Food Crops and Food Plants, spoke and discussed.
After an objective review, discussion and voting process, the Council unanimously selected 06/23 votes to propose provincial-level science and technology tasks in 2025. In addition to selecting tasks, the Council also focused on providing in-depth comments and orientation to complete the dossier in accordance with regulations, including: Adjusting the task name to suit the nature of the "topic" or "project"; reviewing the objectives, research content, product indicators; ensuring feasibility, applicability and spreading effectiveness after implementation.

Dr. Dinh Van Phe - Central Highlands Agricultural and Forestry Science Institute spoke and discussed.
The working session took place in a scientific, responsible and transparent spirit, demonstrating the important role of science and technology in orienting the agricultural development of Quang Ngai province towards sustainability - technology application - climate change adaptation.
