At the seminar, delegates delved into analyzing and evaluating the results, as well as the advantages and difficulties, in the process of organizing social supervision and criticism by the Vietnam Fatherland Front and political and social organizations from the provincial to the grassroots level. Opinions also suggested that to improve social supervision and criticism, it is necessary to strengthen coordination between the Fatherland Front and political and social organizations in mobilizing the people to actively participate; clearly define the focus and key content of social supervision and criticism on issues of concern to the Party and the people; be honest and straightforward in the struggle for social supervision and criticism; overcome overlapping and duplication in supervision; and thoroughly address recommendations and proposals after supervision. Simultaneously, training courses should be organized for cadres of the Fatherland Front and political and social organizations; and mechanisms for social supervision and criticism should be established.
Comrade Le Van Binh, Standing Committee member of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, presided over the discussion meeting.
In his concluding remarks at the conference, the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions and positive solutions raised by the delegates at the seminar. To ensure that social supervision and criticism are substantive and effective, he suggested that in the coming time, the Fatherland Front and political and social organizations should proactively study and thoroughly understand the resolutions and policies of the Party, the Party committees, and the programs and plans of the local government; understand the situation of the people, the issues raised by the people through voter consultations and dialogues between the heads of Party committees and the government with the people, in order to select appropriate content for social supervision and criticism based on the local situation. In particular, after supervision, units should review and compile the results of the resolution, and report to the Party committee for leadership and guidance regarding units that have not yet implemented the recommendations. At the same time, we should leverage the participation and feedback of experts in various fields and members of advisory boards.
