Kim Son Farmers' Association organizes activities to welcome the 7th Provincial Farmers' Association Congress

On the morning of August 10, the Kim Son District Farmers' Association organized activities to welcome the 7th Provincial Farmers' Association Congress, term 2023-2028.

Attending the opening ceremony were leaders of the Provincial Farmers' Association, leaders and many members and farmers from localities in the district.

In Kim My commune, Farmers' Association officials at all levels have promoted awareness of environmental protection, waste classification and collection in designated places; provided training on the use of biological products to treat waste; and promoted the reduction of plastic waste use for members and farmers.

At the same time, the Kim Son District Farmers' Association presented 100 trash bins to members and residents of Kim My commune, contributing practically to joining hands with local Party committees, authorities and people in environmental sanitation work.

In Kim Hai commune, Kim Son District Farmers' Association inaugurated and handed over the "Farmer's Tree Row" project to the local Party Committee, government and people.

The project consists of 200 star apple trees planted along a 1km long commune road. Thereby contributing to creating a green, clean and beautiful landscape, helping the locality complete the criteria for building advanced new rural areas.
