Scientific workshop on private economic development in the new context

Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW dated May 4, 2025 of the Politburo on private economic development is a document of special importance, marking a turning point in the Party's thinking and policy towards this economic sector.

For the first time, Resolution No. 68 identified the private economy as the most important driving force of the national economy.

The Resolution has set out comprehensive tasks and solutions, creating new driving forces for private economic development such as: Renewing thinking, reaching high consensus on awareness and action, arousing national belief and aspirations, creating new impetus, and creating a new momentum for private economic development; promoting reform, perfecting and improving the quality of institutions and policies, ensuring and effectively protecting ownership rights, property rights, freedom of business, and the right to fair competition of the private economy and ensuring contract enforcement of the private economy; promoting business ethics, promoting social responsibility, strongly promoting the entrepreneurial spirit, creating all favorable conditions for entrepreneurs to participate in national governance...

In Bac Giang , the number of newly established enterprises and registered capital increased sharply compared to the period 2016-2020. The private economy grew rapidly in quantity and diversified in industry structure.

At the workshop, delegates all affirmed that Resolution No. 68 is extremely important, contributing to removing many bottlenecks in private economic development.

Thereby, the delegates discussed and clarified the difficulties, challenges and barriers to the development of the private economy in Bac Giang province at present; orientations for the development of enterprises and the private economy in the fields of science, technology and digital transformation; in the field of health; in the field of tourism services in Bac Giang province; in the fields of agriculture, cooperatives and some other fields...; proposed solutions to improve mechanisms and policies to support the development of the private economy; solutions to support access to resources of land, capital, high-quality human resources for the development of the private economy, young enterprises...
