- On the afternoon of August 15, the Provincial General Hospital organized a scientific workshop with the theme "Application of artificial intelligence in fetal ultrasound and diagnosis of malformations". Attending the workshop were more than 80 doctors, nurses, midwives, technicians from the Provincial General Hospital, provincial hospitals, regional medical centers, the Provincial Center for Disease Control and a number of private clinics in the area.
The application of artificial intelligence in obstetric ultrasound is considered an important step forward, helping to detect congenital malformations early, reduce subjective errors, shorten diagnosis time and improve the effectiveness of pregnancy management. Thereby, contributing to protecting the health of mothers and children, reducing the burden on families and society.
At the workshop, delegates listened to experts from Hanoi Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital and SonoScape Medical Group share about ultrasound screening techniques in the first 3 months of pregnancy, to detect early abnormalities in fetal morphology; in-depth diagnosis of congenital heart defects; practice directly on artificial intelligence devices to identify, analyze and measure important indicators of the fetus. Experts also exchanged experiences in handling difficult cases, image optimization skills and data analysis to improve diagnostic accuracy.
The workshop is an opportunity for medical staff in the province to exchange expertise, update advanced diagnostic and treatment methods from upper-level hospitals, especially the application of AI technology in the field of obstetric ultrasound, contributing to improving the quality of diagnosis and health care for mothers and children.
