(Baoquangngai.vn) - On the afternoon of April 14, the Provincial Women's Union organized the 2023 Provincial Sports and Folk Dance Competition with the theme "Healthy and beautiful dance".
The contest attracted over 200 contestants from the Women's Union of 13 districts, towns, cities and 3 units of the provincial armed forces. Each participating team performed a group sports folk dance to the music of Vietnamese songs praising the Party, Uncle Ho, expressing love for the homeland, country, family, and the fine traditions of Vietnamese women.

The entries were scored based on the following criteria: background music, staging; costumes; movements; expressions; elements that inspire the audience and the creativity of the entries. The teams brought to the contest many exciting and cheerful performances, in accordance with traditional customs and ensuring the requirements and rules set out. Many performances had high artistic quality, contributing to spreading the cultural - artistic, physical education - sports movement in general and folk dance and sports in particular in the province.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded the First Prize to the Provincial Police Women's Union; Second Prize to the Nghia Hanh District Women's Union, the City Women's Union, the Provincial Border Guard Women's Union; Third Prize to the Women's Unions of Ba To, Mo Duc, Binh Son, Tra Bong districts and 8 Encouragement Prizes to the units.
