Vietnam's aviation market continues to grow strongly in 2025. In the first 11 months of the year, the total number of passengers reached more than 69 million, an increase of nearly 11%, along with more than 1 million tons of cargo, an increase of more than 18% over the same period in 2024. Domestic transport reached nearly 31 million passengers and 187 thousand tons of cargo; international transport reached more than 38 million passengers and over 1 million tons of cargo, both of which increased sharply.

It is expected that in 2025, the aviation industry will serve about 84 million passengers and 1.4 million tons of cargo. Flight safety is strictly maintained, no accidents have occurred, along with timely identification and handling of risks related to engines, supply chains and lithium battery transportation. The industry is forecast to continue to recover and grow steadily.
