Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Hoang Quoc Khanh, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest emphasized: Organizing the contest is a practical activity, aiming to propagate and improve the quality and effectiveness of the Fire Safety Inter-Household Group model, equipping knowledge and skills to handle fire and explosion situations, rescuing people and property for members of households in the Fire Safety Inter-Household Group.

After the opening ceremony and parade, 9 teams entered the theoretical competition on fire prevention and rescue knowledge and competed in the practical competition with the following contents: fire fighting organization; skills in using fire fighting tools, fire extinguishers; skills in rescuing people and moving property; skills in organizing escape in a fire; first aid skills...

Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Quoc Khanh awarded prizes to the participating delegations.
At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded the First Prize to the Fire Safety Interfamily Team of Can Cau 2 village, Ta Thanh commune, Muong Khuong district; awarded 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes and 3 Encouragement Prizes to the teams participating in the competition.
Muong Khuong district team will represent Lao Cai province to participate in the Round 2, Region I, including 14 provinces in the Northern midland and mountainous region organized by the Ministry of Public Security in June in Thai Nguyen province.
