Since 2014, Home Credit has collaborated with local Women's Unions to implement loan packages and financial and livelihood support programs for disadvantaged women in localities nationwide, with a total support capital of nearly 3 billion VND.

This is part of Home Credit's commitment to social development and improving the quality of life, while also aligning with the National Comprehensive Financial Strategy to 2025, with a vision to 2030.

Home for Life helps hundreds of women improve their income, enhance their quality of life, reduce inequality in access to finance, and work towards the government 's goal of financial inclusion.

Improving financial management skills for rural women.

At the end of May, Home Credit, in collaboration with the Hanoi Women's Newspaper, provided interest-free loan packages to 10 disadvantaged women members in 7 communes of Ung Hoa district (Hanoi). These loans help women develop their livelihoods through small-scale business models, livestock farming, crop cultivation, or maintaining traditional crafts.

This is the 10th year the revolving fund program has been organized, supporting hundreds of women to improve their household economies , increase production value, and stabilize their incomes.

In parallel with providing loans, Home Credit also organizes training sessions on personal and household financial management. Here, financial experts share knowledge on spending planning, saving, and effectively managing loan capital. The knowledge shared is based on the "Financial Handbook for Women" – a document compiled by leading experts in the financial field and Home Credit, providing easy-to-understand information and practical examples to help participants easily apply it to their daily lives.

After the program, not only was knowledge of financial management enhanced, but skills in being vigilant against scams were also emphasized, ensuring women are more confident and proactive in life.

Promoting innovative entrepreneurship

Mr. Jakub Kudrna, Director of Business Strategy and Chairman of the ESG Steering Committee at Home Credit Vietnam, stated that with the mission of empowering women economically, the program has accompanied women on their journey to mastering their lives. Also within the framework of the Home for Life initiative, Home Credit is partnering with the Vietnam Women's Union in the annual Women's Entrepreneurship Competition. This year's competition is themed "Women Entrepreneurs: Innovation and Green Transformation".

This is an opportunity to celebrate businesses and organizations owned by women, especially those that adopt clean energy, circular economy, and environmentally friendly products.

Home Credit provides startup capital for promising projects, encourages women to develop Vietnamese-branded products, and contributes to raising awareness of the green economy. These initiatives not only create sustainable value but also spread a spirit of innovation and social responsibility within the community.

In addition, the Financial Handbook for Women, compiled by Home Credit in collaboration with leading industry experts, was released this year. The book is an updated version of "Understanding Finance - A Smart Financial Handbook," published by Home Credit in 2022, aiming to improve access to basic financial knowledge for Vietnamese women.

Home Credit hopes that through this content, it can support women in confidently managing their finances, from planning expenses to investing in family economic development. The handbook was distributed to over 800 women in the Home for Life program. In addition, people can also read it directly on the official Home Credit Vietnam website.

The content in this guide is designed to be simple, accompanied by practical examples, making it easy for readers, especially women, to apply it to their lives.

According to Jakub Kudrna, the Home for Life initiative demonstrates a commitment to supporting women on their journey to development and economic self-reliance. These efforts not only bring tangible benefits but also contribute to reducing gender inequality, promoting social progress, and building a more sustainable community.

Through its continuously implemented meaningful activities, Home Credit aims to be a pioneer in providing financial support and improving the quality of life for Vietnamese women, so that every woman has the opportunity to realize her dreams and reach for a better future.
