On December 5, Home Credit was honored in the Top 10 Sustainable Enterprises in the Trade - Service sector at the Announcement Ceremony of Sustainable Enterprises in Vietnam 2025 (CSI 2025) presented by the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).

Notably, this is also the fourth consecutive year that Home Credit has been included in the Top 100 Sustainable Businesses in Vietnam (CSI 100), recognizing the efforts and dedication of the leading consumer finance company in its strategy to support the sustainable development of the nation.

This important milestone is also a strong affirmation of Home Credit Vietnam's great progress in pursuing sustainable development goals (ESG), especially improving and strengthening the Governance factor (G - Governance) in all business operations.

In fact, the recent increase in the frequency and severity of storms and floods due to the impacts of climate change has highlighted the importance of sustainable development. At Home Credit, alongside maintaining business efficiency, the company is actively measuring and assessing the environmental and climate risks to its business operations and vice versa.

This is considered a major step forward for Home Credit in corporate governance, because risk identification is a solid foundation for the company to come up with ideas and implement sustainable initiatives.

Throughout its 17-year presence in Vietnam, Home Credit has consistently prioritized responsible growth through transparency and rigorous risk control. The company applies artificial intelligence (AI) and big data in assessing customers' financial capacity, thereby minimizing bad debt and expanding access to services for underserved populations, without negatively impacting the financial health of either party.

At the end of the third quarter of 2025, Home Credit recorded an impressive non-performing loan (NPL) ratio of 1.57%, significantly lower than the industry average of 7.5%. This index reflects the company's effective risk management ability as Home Credit is one of the few financial companies that has maintained an NPL threshold below 3% for many consecutive years.

At the same time, the company also actively offers many preferential financial solutions to support consumers in accessing environmentally friendly products such as electric vehicles, bicycles, etc., promoting a "green" lifestyle in the community.

Home Credit believes that effective risk management not only helps the company build better business strategies for the coming years, but also provides maximum protection for customers, helping them confidently take control of their lives.

Not only stopping at management initiatives, the company always strives to accompany the community through practical social activities. In the context of Vietnam continuously suffering from natural disasters this year, the company promptly called on the entire team to join hands, contributing a total of more than 2 billion VND to support school reconstruction and support Home Credit employees in areas affected by storms and floods.

In addition, the “Home Love” program has supported more than 3,000 people in difficult circumstances across the country since the beginning of the year, and repaired and built 5 new schools in remote areas. What is special is that these activities always attract the active participation of many volunteers within the company and partners, contributing to spreading the spirit of action for the community.

Along with direct support, Home Credit promotes solutions that can help improve sustainable livelihoods for the community. That is why, over the years, the company has regularly implemented programs to support livelihood capital for women in difficult circumstances, training and accompanying them in the process of starting a business and developing the family economy .

For future generations, the company also collaborates with the Phu Yen Banking Academy to organize sustainable livelihood entrepreneurship competitions, providing practical knowledge on sustainable development and risk management in businesses for students in the area.

At the same time, for many years, the "Home Smart" program series has been implemented in a focused manner, reaching out to and equipping various target groups with basic financial knowledge. In 2025 alone, Home Credit's workshops recorded the participation of over 2,000 students from universities in Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang. Last November, the company further expanded its financial literacy sharing to over 1,500 female partners of Be Group through both in-person and online formats.

“The consecutive natural disasters and floods in 2025 have made us reflect even more on the responsibility of businesses in managing environmental risks and partnering with stakeholders in society. With a guiding principle of putting people at the center of all strategies and activities, Home Credit is committed to working together to protect a safe and happy living environment, so that each individual can enjoy the life they desire. With recognition from VCCI, we are even more motivated to continue bringing positive and lasting social impacts, contributing to building a more sustainable future for the community,” shared Mr. Jakub Kudrna, Director of Strategy and Chairman of the ESG Steering Committee of Home Credit Vietnam.
