Over 1000 athletes participated in the "Proud of Vietnamese Products 2023" running event.

On the morning of December 10, 2023, at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, Hanoi, the Ministry of Industry and Trade organized the "Proud of Vietnamese Goods" running event. Attending to cheer on and encourage the participating athletes were representatives from the Ministry of Industry and Trade; relevant agencies and departments; social organizations, industry associations, the business community, and representatives from the media. The "Proud of Vietnamese Goods" race attracted over 1,000 participants, including officials, civil servants, and employees of the Ministry of Industry and Trade; departments and agencies of Hanoi ; relevant social organizations and industry associations; representatives of businesses; and running enthusiasts. The race is organized with a community focus through a highly engaging sporting activity (running movement) to call upon, motivate, and encourage the participation of state agencies, social organizations, businesses, and consumers in related activities; to promote and spread the spirit of "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" to the public. At the same time, it celebrates the strength of solidarity, creates an environment for people, social organizations, and businesses to have the opportunity to interact and learn; builds awareness of health training and a positive lifestyle; and contributes to improving health, physical fitness, culture, and spirit. Alongside the "Proud of Vietnamese Goods" race, there will also be experiences, entertainment, and mini-games with prizes to learn about Vietnamese products and brands; and interactive activities to convey the message "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods". According to the race regulations, athletes will start and finish on the double lane of Dinh Tien Hoang Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi. The race distance is 5km (3 laps around Hoan Kiem Lake). Regarding prizes: The first 6 athletes (3 men and 3 women) to finish will receive medals and prizes. The "Proud of Vietnamese Goods" race is part of the "Identifying Vietnamese Goods" program, titled "Proud of Vietnamese Goods," "The Quintessence of Vietnamese Goods" in 2023, which includes many combined activities and events taking place in November and December 2023, implemented by the Domestic Market Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade) in coordination with the Industry and Trade Magazine. A notable event is the "Proud of Vietnamese Goods," "The Quintessence of Vietnamese Goods" festival in 2023 at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, Ho Hoan Kiem pedestrian street, opening on the evening of December 9th and lasting until December 10th, 2023. The 2023 "Proud of Vietnamese Goods" and "Essence of Vietnamese Goods" festivals include: Exhibitions showcasing, promoting, and honoring strong, high-quality Vietnamese goods and services; Fashion shows by Vietnam Garment Corporation No. 10 (Autumn/Winter 2023 collection The Pilgrimage) and Craft Link Social Enterprise Joint Stock Company (Traditional in Contemporary style collection); Artistic activities, exchanges, and entertainment to spread awareness and encourage the consumption of Vietnamese goods, linked to the messages "Proud of Vietnamese Goods" and "Essence of Vietnamese Goods"... The "Proud of Vietnamese Goods" running event will be held on Sunday morning, December 10, 2023, with the participation of over 1,000 officials and workers from within and outside the Ministry of Industry and Trade at the Hoan Kiem Lake pedestrian street in Hanoi. The race was organized with a community focus through a highly connected sporting activity (running movement) to call upon, motivate, and encourage the participation of state agencies, social organizations, businesses, and consumers in related activities; and to promote and spread the spirit of "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" to the people. The Forum to Promote the Production and Consumption of Vietnamese Goods was held on the afternoon of December 11, 2023, at the International Conference Center, Hung Vuong Street, Hanoi. The forum focused on discussions about: Trends in the development of production and consumption of Vietnamese goods in the new situation; Experiences and solutions to enhance the position and increase the recognition of Vietnamese goods in the domestic market; Solutions to effectively exploit the unique characteristics and essence of Vietnamese goods. Innovative solutions and methods for developing consumption linkages for Vietnamese goods in the new context… Conference “Connecting OCOP Product Consumption”: Held on December 5, 2023, at the International Conference Center, Hanoi. The conference shared best practices and challenges in implementing the One Commune One Product (OCOP) program; discussed policy solutions and support for connecting consumption and promoting trade for OCOP products. Conference “Connecting Production and Consumption of Products in Mountainous, Remote, and Island Areas”: Held on November 18, 2023, at the Vietnam-Czech Friendship Labor Culture Palace, Hai Phong City. The conference aimed to share best practices and challenges in implementing the program for developing trade in mountainous, remote, and island areas during the 2021-2025 period; Discuss policy solutions, support for production and processing, consumption linkages, and trade promotion for products from mountainous, remote, and island regions.
