- On the morning of May 12, Chu Van An High School for the Gifted, Lang Son City, in coordination with the Provincial Police Youth Union, organized a program to propagate drowning prevention and first aid skills in case of drowning accidents for more than 400 students, cadres, teachers and staff of the school.
At the program, officers of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of the Provincial Police; officers and doctors of the Provincial Police Infirmary shared and guided students, officers, teachers and staff of the school on the following contents: knowledge of drowning prevention and control; how to recognize the risk of drowning; first aid skills in case of drowning accidents; how to use life jackets, rescue skills... At the same time, students of Chu Van An High School for the Gifted directly practiced first aid methods for drowning victims.
The program has helped students, staff, teachers and employees of the school raise awareness and equip themselves with skills to prevent drowning accidents before the summer vacation.
On this occasion, the Provincial Police Youth Union presented 20 life jackets for rescue work to the school.
On the same day, the Provincial Police Youth Union came to propagate drowning prevention skills to more than 1,500 students, cadres, teachers and staff of Vinh Trai Primary School, Lang Son city.
It is known that in May 2025, the Provincial Police Youth Union will continue to coordinate with school principals in the province to organize propaganda programs, disseminate knowledge and skills to prevent and combat drowning for students.
