More than 500 Phuc Yen students get free trial exam to enter grade 10

Candidates take the Literature test.

The mock test was organized by Vinh PhucEducation Center (Vinh Phuc Edu) for free at 2 locations: 177 Tran Hung Dao, Trung Trac ward and the campus of the Construction and Technical Vocational College (Dong Xuan ward, Phuc Yen city).

Of which, at 177 Tran Hung Dao, there were 272 candidates and at the Construction and Technical Vocational College, there were 268 candidates. Candidates participating in the exam came from secondary schools in the city.

The exam will take place in three subjects: Math, Literature and English. On the morning of April 13, candidates will take the Literature test for 120 minutes, followed by the English test (60 minutes). In the afternoon of the same day, candidates will take the Math test (120 minutes).

Regarding the exam, English is 100% multiple choice, Math is a combination of multiple choice and essay. Literature is an essay test.

Candidates check information before entering the exam room.

Mr. Doan Hanh Hoa - Director of Vinh Phuc Education Center said: Before organizing the exam, the Center widely announced to schools so that schools could notify parents and guide students to register for the exam. To prepare for the exam, the Center contacted the core teachers of Vinh Phuc province to coordinate with the Center's teachers to develop and evaluate the exam questions.

The exam questions are built and evaluated based on the sample questions of the Vinh Phuc Department of Education and Training, closely following the content of the 2018 General Education Program and the direction of the Ministry of Education and Training . In particular, the Literature exam questions do not use materials from textbooks but rather current information or issues of high practicality and application in life.

The organization of the mock exam is carried out by Vinh Phuc Education Center in the same way as the real exam: Numbering the candidates, checking information before entering the exam room, students are informed of the rules, items that are allowed and not allowed to be brought into the exam room...

The mock test helps candidates get used to the exam room psychology before the official exam.

“The exam not only helps students gain experience but also helps them understand the structure and content of the exam and especially train their psychology in the exam room to be confident when entering the official exam. After marking the exam, the Center will personalize the results of each group of candidates, from which they will know which knowledge they are weak in so that they can review in time in the final stage,” added Mr. Doan Hanh Hoa.

It is known that in the coming time, Vinh Phuc will have more mock exams for students. Specifically, ICG Education Center in coordination with Lien Bao High School organized a mock exam for grade 10 for students in the whole province on April 20. Next, on April 26-27, ICG coordinated with Vinh Phuc Specialized High School to organize a specialized high school entrance exam for students in Vinh Phuc and neighboring provinces.
