According to the Commander of the Long Quang Commune Military Command, the crack is at risk of further landslides and landslips. There is currently no plan to deal with the landslide area. In addition, there are currently many other landslides in Long Quang Commune, however, they do not pose a danger to households living in the area.

By the afternoon of the same day, Khe Tre commune authorities had also evacuated over 120 households with nearly 400 people due to the risk of landslides and flash floods. In addition, 6 houses collapsed in the commune in Xuan Phu, Ha An, Phu Nam and Phu Hoa villages. Of these, one house in Phu Nam village and two houses in Xuan Phu completely collapsed. These households have been evacuated to relatives' homes.
Currently, the commune is continuing to mobilize and evacuate households at risk of being affected by landslides in the area.
