Implementing the program of Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Hung Yen province in 2025, by May 13, the whole province had started construction on 1,354/1,375 houses, accounting for 98.4%, of which 623 were newly built and 731 were repaired; 761 houses were completed, accounting for 56.2%, including 181 newly built houses and 580 repaired houses.

Five localities have started construction of 100% of the houses supported for new construction and repair, namely Tien Lu, Phu Cu, An Thi, Khoai Chau, and Kim Dong. Tien Lu district alone has completed construction and repair of 194/194 houses and allocated support funds to beneficiaries since the end of April.

The whole province completed the construction and repair of over 760 temporary and dilapidated houses.

Up to now, the total implementation cost is over 59.2 billion VND, of which the provincial budget is over 13.1 billion VND, the district budget is over 5.5 billion VND, the rest is from the commune budget, socialized sources and capital from households...

The entire province is determined to complete the construction and repair of all approved temporary and dilapidated houses before May 31, 2025.
