Instructions for using eTax Mobile and the taxpayer support chatbot.

The Tax Department recently organized a training conference on the features of the eTax Mobile application and the deployment of a virtual assistant (Chatbot) to support taxpayers both in person and online at tax offices nationwide. At the Khanh Hoa branch, the provincial tax leaders and a large number of tax officials participated.

At the conference, delegates were guided on using the integrated chatbot tool on the eTax Mobile application. This is a new feature developed and implemented by the Tax Department, contributing to the further realization of the Tax Department's goal of "putting taxpayers at the center of service, providing timely and effective support." Simultaneously, detailed instructions were given on how to file and pay taxes via eTax Mobile, using the chatbot to look up information and handle common situations, and practical exercises were conducted to address real-world problems.

After nearly four years of operation, the eTax Mobile application has been comprehensively upgraded to a "one-stop shop" model. The Tax Department has successfully integrated VNeID login with all essential functions such as: tax registration; declaration; tax payment (including payment on behalf of others); tax obligation lookup; registration and adjustment of electronic invoice information; and lookup and feedback on business household information... helping taxpayers fulfill their obligations anytime, anywhere in the most convenient way. From March 2022 to the present, there have been more than 13 million downloads and installations of the eTax Mobile application; the system has received and processed more than 17.2 million tax payment transactions with a total amount of over 26.5 trillion VND collected for the state budget.

Through the training session, the Tax Department requested its affiliated units to proactively promote and support local taxpayers, and at the same time provide feedback to further improve the development of electronic tax applications and services.
