Lac Viet Friendship Association exchanges cooperation with Kyushu Advanced Health and Welfare Association.

On the morning of December 6, 2025, at Thang Long Lac Viet International Hospital, the Lac Viet Friendship Hospital System (LVFH) held an online exchange with representatives of the Kyushu Association for the Dissemination of Advanced Welfare Healthcare, Japan, to discuss opportunities for cooperation in the fields of stem cell technology and regenerative medicine.

A cooperation exchange with the Kyushu Association for the Dissemination of Advanced Health and Welfare took place on the morning of December 6, 2025.

The Japanese side included Mr. Nishiza Seiki, President of the Association; Professor Chiba Shunmei, a stem cell, neuroscience, and regenerative medicine expert with 3D stem cell culture technology; and leading scientists in the fields of stem cells and regenerative medicine.

Representing the Lac Viet Friendship Hospital System were Mr. Do Trong Thuy, General Director of Lac Viet Group; and MSc-Specialist Doctor II Nguyen Manh Tuong, Deputy Director of Thang Long Lac Viet International Hospital.

The exchange was also attended by Professor Dr. Le Van Quang, Professional Advisor of the System, currently Director of K Hospital and Director of the Institute for Cancer Prevention and Research. Lac Viet Friendship Hospital System has signed a professional cooperation agreement with K Hospital and invited Professor Dr. Le Van Quang to serve as advisor.

Kyushu Advanced Welfare Health Popularization Association - a pioneer in regenerative medicine in Japan.

The Kyushu Association for the Popularization of Advanced Welfare Healthcare is a prestigious organization in Japan responsible for inspecting and licensing hospitals in the Kyushu region in the field of regenerative medicine. The association also connects international patients with leading Japanese hospitals, helping them access advanced, safe, and effective treatment methods.

The association brings together experts from many major organizations such as the Japan Stem Cell Association, the Japan Cancer Treatment Association, etc., and collaborates with many hospitals in Kyushu, Hiroshima, Osaka, Nagoya, and Tokyo to implement modern therapies such as iPS cell therapy, mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), gene therapy, and molecularly targeted drugs.

Professional exchange on stem cells and long-term cooperation: During the meeting, the two sides discussed advances in 3D stem cell culture and application, the potential application of stem cells in supporting the treatment of cancer and degenerative diseases, and the prospects of regenerative medicine in future healthcare.

Along with the equipment, we will work alongside the Lac Viet Friendship Hospital System in the training process to ensure that all procedures meet Japanese standards."

Professor Le Van Quang, a professional advisor, highly appreciated the cooperation orientation between Lac Viet Friendship and the Kyushu Association for the Dissemination of Advanced Health and Welfare.

Both sides agreed on a plan to organize an International Scientific Conference on Advances in Stem Cell Therapy, scheduled to take place in March 2026 in Hanoi, with the participation of experts from Japan and Vietnam. Professor Le Van Quang shared: "International academic connections bring practical benefits to patients. The upcoming conference is an opportunity to update new knowledge and expand cooperation in the field of stem cells."

Representing the Lac Viet Friendship Hospital System, Mr. Do Trong Thuy emphasized the direction of developing new technologies: "We are ready to send our team to Japan to study and gain practical experience. The goal of the Lac Viet Friendship Hospital System is to systematically adopt technology to serve patients effectively and safely."

The collaboration between Japanese experts and the medical team of Lac Viet Friendship Hospital System is expected to bring about a new breakthrough in the application of stem cell technology, improving the treatment of chronic diseases, degenerative diseases, and cancer.
