Cancellation of bidding notice for 13 North-South expressway rest stop projects

All 13 investment projects for rest stop construction on the Eastern North-South Expressway that have just had their bidding invitations canceled have the same reason.

The Director of the Vietnam Expressway Administration has just signed a decision to cancel the invitation to bid for investment projects to build rest stops on the Eastern North-South Expressway.

Accordingly, the Director of the Vietnam Expressway Administration approved the request of the project management boards: 2, 6, 7, 85, Thang Long, Ho Chi Minh , My Thuan, to cancel the bidding notice of 13 rest stop projects being issued on the National Bidding Network System.

13 investment projects to operate rest stops on the Eastern North-South Expressway had their bidding invitations canceled, including:

Investment project for the construction of rest stops at Km 366+850 (right route) and Km 366+920 (left route) under the National Highway 45 - Nghi Son component project on the North-South expressway in the East.

Investment project to operate the rest stop Km534+310 under the Ham Nghi – Vung Ang component project on the North – South expressway, Eastern section.

Investment project to operate the rest stop Km594+400 under the Vung Ang – Bung component project on the North – South expressway, Eastern section.

Investment project to operate the rest stop at Km651+000 under the Bung - Van Ninh component project on the North - South expressway, Eastern section.

Investment project to operate the rest stop at Km725+500, part of the Van Ninh - Cam Lo section project on the North - South expressway, Eastern section.

Investment project to operate the rest stop at Km36+500, part of the Cam Lo - La Son section project on the North - South expressway, Eastern section.

Investment project to operate the rest stop at Km15+620 under the Quang Ngai – Hoai Nhon component project on the North – South expressway, Eastern section.

Investment project to operate the rest stop at Km77+820 under the Quang Ngai – Hoai Nhon component project on the North – South expressway, Eastern section.

The reason for canceling the bidding notice, according to the Vietnam Expressway Administration, is to comply with the provisions of Point e, Clause 4, Article 73 of Decree No. 115/2024/ND-CP dated September 16, 2024 of the Government detailing a number of articles and measures to implement the Law on Bidding on selecting investors to implement investment projects using land.

Accordingly, for projects that have issued bidding documents but by August 1, 2024, no investors have submitted bidding documents, the bidding notice will be canceled and the selection of investors will be stopped.
