During the 2020-2025 term, despite being affected by natural disasters and epidemics, Tuy Duc district's economy still recorded stable growth. The total value of production grew at an average rate of 11.07% per year, exceeding the target set in the resolution (11%).

The agricultural economy of Tuy Duc district is increasingly thriving.

Specifically, key sectors such as agriculture, forestry, and fisheries achieved 8.26% growth, industry and construction achieved 14.91%; and services saw impressive growth of 20.16%.

Leveraging its agricultural advantages, the district has focused on developing key crops such as coffee, pepper, and macadamia nuts. Many agricultural areas in the district have achieved VietGAP and food safety standards, helping to increase product value. The estimated grain production is projected to reach 3,792 tons by 2025, exceeding the target of 2,886 tons.

Furthermore, the District Party Committee has focused on building and developing high-tech agricultural production models to create a competitive advantage and meet the increasingly high demands for food quality and safety. To date, the entire district has more than 1,456 hectares of agricultural land that have received food safety certifications.

High-tech agricultural production is being invested in and developed by many people in Tuy Duc.

According to Ms. Phan Thi Khuong, Deputy Head of the Agriculture and Rural Development Department of Tuy Duc district, agricultural economics remains a cornerstone of the district's economic development. To date, the targets set in the Resolution on agriculture have been largely met and exceeded.

In addition, transportation infrastructure has been heavily invested in, effectively serving the socio-economic development of the district. To date, the percentage of district roads that have been paved has reached 100%, far exceeding the set target.

In addition, essential services such as electricity and clean water have met the needs of the vast majority of households, significantly improving the quality of life for the people.

Eligible to be removed from the list of poor districts.

Throughout its term, poverty reduction has always been a top priority for the Tuy Duc District Party Committee. To date, the poverty rate has decreased to 18.78%, and the poverty rate among ethnic minorities has fallen to 21.56%.

By the end of 2024, the poverty rate is expected to decrease to approximately 12.78%. Notably, based on the district's annual assessment score, by the end of 2024, the district will be eligible to be included in the national list of poor districts.

For ethnic minority communities, livelihood support programs, vocational education , and production development have contributed to alleviating difficulties and stabilizing people's lives.

Specifically, during the term, the district created 4,897 new jobs, exceeding the target set in the resolution by 2,500 workers. The district also organized numerous vocational training courses for 1,039 people, helping residents improve their skills, thereby enabling them to find stable employment and increase their income.

This result demonstrates the district's efforts in supporting this group to rise out of poverty.

The district has paid attention to and invested in transportation infrastructure to connect villages and hamlets.

Policies supporting production have also been widely implemented for ethnic minority communities. The district has received nearly 592 billion VND in investment for national target programs on sustainable poverty reduction, socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, and new rural development.

This support not only helps poor households gain more resources to develop production but also improves infrastructure, electricity, roads, schools, and health centers, contributing to an improved quality of life.

In addition, the district is stepping up technical support activities, guiding people to apply science and technology to agricultural production to increase productivity and economic efficiency. Poor and near-poor households are supported with seedlings, livestock, and guidance on care and animal husbandry techniques.

Macadamia trees have been introduced for trial cultivation in many villages and hamlets with promising results, helping people increase their income and gradually escape poverty.

Tuy Duc district (Dak Nong province) has developed a large-scale, high-quality short-term crop production area, creating significant production value.

One of the effective solutions for poverty reduction in Tuy Duc is the development of collective economic models, especially agricultural cooperatives and production groups.

To date, there are 27 cooperatives operating in the district, many of which are involved in value chain production, creating favorable conditions for farmers to link with each other and enhance the competitiveness of their products.

Tuy Duc district achieved encouraging results with a total forest planting area of ​​1,687.8 hectares, raising the forest cover rate to 49.77%, estimated to reach 50.76% by 2025, exceeding the resolution's target.

Sustainable development of the natural environment not only helps protect natural resources but also makes a significant contribution to the quality of life of local people.

Alongside this, the education and healthcare systems of Tuy Duc district continue to be strengthened and improved in both quality and quantity.

Building a strong Party organization.

The Tuy Duc District Party Committee has always paid special attention to the work of building and strengthening Party organizations. From 2020 to the present, the district has admitted an additional 282 Party members, bringing the total number of Party members to nearly 2,000.

Party organizations at the grassroots level have effectively played a pioneering and exemplary role in implementing socio-economic development tasks in their localities.

The Tuy Duc border region (Dak Nong province) is undergoing significant changes, with a gradually stabilizing economy and villagers placing their trust in the Party's guidelines and policies.
