Opening of the new school year at Tuy Duc border school

On the morning of September 5, in the atmosphere of the opening ceremony across the country, teachers and students of Tuy Duc Secondary and High School for Ethnic Minorities in the border commune of Tuy Duc solemnly held the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year.

Attending the event were Comrade Bui Huy Thanh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Provincial Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions; representatives of the local government and relevant departments; and all the staff, teachers, and over 200 students of the school.

In the 2024-2025 school year, the school has 7 classes with 219 students, including 131 junior high school students and 88 senior high school students. In the 2024-2025 school year, 98.17% of students achieved good or excellent conduct, 43.84% achieved good or excellent academic performance, and the percentage of students who did not meet the standards decreased significantly compared to the previous school year. Students from the school participated in and achieved many successes in provincial-level competitions such as the Olympiad, English Public Speaking, Science and Technology, etc.

Career guidance and student placement programs have been implemented effectively. 100% of 9th-grade students graduated from lower secondary school, with the majority continuing on to upper secondary school; all 27 12th-grade students took the upper secondary school graduation exam, with approximately 21 applying for admission to universities and colleges.

The quality of teaching and learning has improved, the percentage of good and excellent students has increased, digital transformation in education has been promoted, comprehensive educational activities have been emphasized, and notably, students have achieved many high results in provincial-level competitions.

Entering the new school year, Comrade Bui Huy Thanh suggested that the school continue to uphold its traditions, strongly innovate teaching methods, improve the overall quality of education, focus on moral education, life skills, and preserve national cultural identity in the boarding school environment.
