"Huynh Hoa", "Cu Ly", "Nguyen Sinh", "Bay Ho"... gather at the Vietnam Bread Festival

People lined up to buy and enjoy bread in the afternoon and evening of March 21, at Le Van Tam Park.

The event took place from March 21 to 24, attracting a large number of people and tourists to participate.

Attending the opening ceremony were comrades: Truong My Hoa, former VicePresident ; Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, former Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Pham Phuong Thao, former Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council.

On the opening day, there were quite a lot of visitors, the roads around the park were crowded. The festival had the participation of many famous bread brands such as Huynh Hoa, Cu Ly bread, Nguyen Sinh bread, Bay Ho bread... with prices ranging from 15,000 - 75,000 VND/loaf, depending on the type. In addition, some booths also introduced fruit tea products, baking ingredients...

The main activities at the festival include a space for cultural exchange and culinary experiences; an area displaying documents on “Bread past and present”; a bread feast; setting a “Record of 100 dishes served with bread”…

This year, the festival is expanding in scale, expected to attract more than 150,000 domestic and international visitors.
