If you are looking for a different corner of Korea where the pace of life slows down and nature prevails, Jeonbuk (also known as North Jeolla or Jeollabuk) is an ideal choice. In contrast to the hustle and bustle of Seoul or Busan, this province attracts visitors with its peaceful space, suitable for those who want to immerse themselves in nature, combine relaxation and health care.
Getting to Jeonbuk is quite convenient. From Incheon International Airport, visitors can take the KTX express train for about 1 hour and 30 minutes or take a bus for about 3 hours. If departing from Seoul, the KTX train journey to Jeongeup Station in Jeongeup City takes only about 2 hours.
Immerse yourself in nature at Naejangsan National Park
Naejangsan National Park, with an area of over 80 km², is one of the most prominent natural destinations in Jeonbuk. It has its own beauty in each season of the year. In autumn, the trails are covered with brilliant red and yellow maple leaves. In spring, the space is dyed pink by romantic cherry blossoms.

In addition to exploring on foot , visitors can choose to take the cable car to the observatory on top of Yeonjabong to admire the whole view of the park. Inside the campus, there is also Naejangsan Temple, an ancient architectural work built in 660 during the Baekje Kingdom, and Uhwajeong Pavilion located in the middle of a quiet lake, a favorite check-in spot.

Lost in time at Jeonju Old Village
Recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage, Jeonju Hanok Village is home to about 800 traditional houses that are over 100 years old. It still retains unique architecture from the Joseon Dynasty and a rare peaceful atmosphere. This is also the main setting of the famous historical drama "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds".

Once here, visitors can visit historical sites such as Gyeonggijeon Temple, Jeondong Cathedral, Omokdae and Imokdae. Interspersed among the old houses are cafes, restaurants and shops selling unique handicrafts made by local artisans.
The journey of "healing" from physical to spiritual
Jeonbuk is aiming to become a top wellness destination in Korea. The province has developed a strong model of “healing” tourism , combining relaxation and spiritual recovery. Visitors can participate in short-term meditation courses, forest bathing, experience spas using Oriental medicine, or participate in creative activities such as pottery making and traditional hanji paper making.

Experience winter in the "Korean Alps"
