Away from the hustle and bustle of Seoul or Busan, Jeonbuk (also known as North Jeolla) offers a peaceful space where visitors can immerse themselves in nature and traditional culture. It is a favorite destination for locals for short breaks focused on rejuvenation and wellness.

Getting to Jeonbuk is quite convenient. From Incheon International Airport, it only takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes by KTX high-speed train or 3 hours by bus. If departing from Seoul, the KTX train journey to Jeongeup Station only takes about 2 hours.

Naejangsan National Park: Symphony of Four Seasons

With an area of ​​over 80 km², Naejangsan National Park is one of the must-see attractions in Jeonbuk. It is famous for its spectacular beauty that changes with each season. In spring, the park is covered in the romantic pink color of cherry blossoms. In autumn, Naejangsan transforms into a brilliant picture with roads filled with red and yellow maple leaves.

Visitors can choose to hike through the forest trails or take a cable car to the observatory at the top of Yeonjabong for panoramic views. Also within the park are Naejangsan Temple, an ancient structure built in 660 during the Baekje Kingdom, and Uhwajeong Pavilion, a charming structure set in the middle of a tranquil lake that is a favorite photo spot for many.

Jeonju Hanok Village: A Hundred-Year Mark

Recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage, Jeonju Hanok Village is home to about 800 traditional houses that are more than a century old. Unlike other ancient villages in Seoul, Jeonju Hanok retains its slow pace of life and original architecture from the Joseon Dynasty. This is also the main setting of the famous historical drama "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds".
