The crisis in Turin is reaching its peak as Juventus has decided to fire coach Igor Tudor.

Tudor replaced Motta in March 2025.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Juventus announced the decision to fire coach Igor Tudor on the morning of October 27 (local time), after a series of poor results that caused extreme tension within the team.

"Mr. Tudor has been informed directly of the club's decision. Massimo Brambilla will temporarily lead the team until Juventus chooses a replacement," Romano confirmed.

The 0-1 defeat to Lazio last weekend was the last straw, marking the third consecutive defeat and an eight-match winless streak for the "Old Lady" in all competitions. The last time Juventus won all three points was on September 13, against Inter Milan. Since then, Tudor's team has been on a downward spiral, with their attacks stalling and their morale low.

Gazzetta dello Sport reported that Juve's board were divided. Some were in favour of giving Tudor more time, others wanted immediate changes to save the season. However, Tudor eventually had to leave the hot seat.

The list of candidates being considered includes Luciano Spalletti, Roberto Mancini, Raffaele Palladino and even Thiago Motta – who was sacked in March but has a contract until 2027.

The move is seen as Juventus' last-ditch effort to salvage a disappointing season, as they languish in mid-table in Serie A – unacceptable for a club that has dominated Italy for a decade.
