More than three months after the television report "Suffering from living with dust storms" was published by Phu Tho Newspaper on June 16, 2024, the dust pollution situation on Provincial Road 316 in Dong Phu area, Thach Khoan commune, Thanh Son district has been basically resolved to ensure a safe living environment for the people.
Regular water spraying has contributed to reducing dust pollution in Thach Khoan commune.
Immediately after the report was broadcast, relevant authorities and local governments took action, organizing meetings and disseminating information to businesses and residents. They also organized the signing of commitments to not violate regulations on environmental sanitation during the exploitation and transportation of mineral resources in the area. To date, implementation has been serious; businesses have covered materials, cleaned tires before operation, and used water trucks to regularly wash roads to minimize dust and environmental pollution.

Comrade Van Manh Thang - Chairman of the People's Committee of Thach Khoan commune, said: Currently, businesses in the area are fulfilling their commitments signed with the People's Committee of the commune to ensure that the lives of the people are not affected. In the coming time, we will continue to monitor the situation with the spirit of creating favorable conditions for businesses to operate effectively and will report to the relevant authorities to take timely measures if environmental violations are detected.
