Of which, domestic visitors are estimated at 123 thousand arrivals, international visitors are estimated at 138 thousand arrivals.

To ensure the safety of tourists coming to celebrate the New Year 2024, the Department of Tourism of Da Nang city has issued a document requesting tourism service businesses in the city to ensure service for tourists and organize activities during the Christmas and New Year 2024 holidays. The management board of Son Tra peninsula and tourist beaches arranges 100% of its forces to regularly inspect and supervise to ensure security, order, environmental sanitation, and rescue at Son Tra peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches; requesting service business units at the beach to repair and redecorate service counters, umbrellas and chairs to serve customers; and clear tourist routes at Son Tra peninsula. International visitors are mainly from Korea, Taiwan (China), Japan, India, Southeast Asia (Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines...)... 4-5 star and equivalent tourist accommodation establishments have an estimated total occupancy rate of 60% for Christmas and New Year 2024 (up 15-20% over the same period last year), the highest room occupancy rate is concentrated on 2 days of the New Year holiday, December 30-31, 2023, guests mainly stay at hotels and coastal resorts. During the 3 days of the New Year holiday in 2024 alone, the total number of international and domestic flights to Da Nang is estimated at 434 (up 10% over the same period in 2023).
