Also this morning, 33 exemplary families from 11 delegations, comprising 132 members, gathered in Duc Linh to prepare for this meaningful event. Besides being honored and recognized as exemplary cultural families, these families will participate in competitions such as "talented family" and "healthy and happy family," as well as other activities like photo exhibitions and cultural exchanges.
With the message "Happy Family - Prosperous Nation ," the activities of the festival also aim to contribute to preserving and promoting family cultural values associated with the goal of "Building a prosperous, progressive, and happy Vietnamese family, the core and healthy cell of society, the home of each individual; a place to nurture and cultivate character and a lifestyle that respects the good traditional morals of the nation; promoting and spreading good values to contribute to the sustainable development of the country ." Through this, it effectively implements Directive 06-CT/TW dated June 24, 2021, of the Central Party Secretariat on strengthening the Party's leadership over family work in the new situation.
Organizing activities on Vietnam Family Day, June 28th, aims to honor and commend exemplary cultural families, creating opportunities for families in districts, towns , cities, and agencies, organizations, armed forces, and businesses in the province to meet, exchange cultural and artistic ideas, participate in sports, share experiences on building happy families, introduce the unique family culture of each locality, and contribute to strengthening solidarity and friendship among families in the province.
The competition is not only an activity to celebrate Vietnamese Family Day on June 28th, but also a response to the National Action Month on preventing and combating domestic violence; the organizational format is diverse and rich, suitable for the abilities and ages of each family member. According to the Organizing Committee, the winning teams will represent the province at the 12th Southeast Provinces Family Festival in 2023 in Tay Ninh province and the 13th Southeast Provinces Family Festival in 2024 in Binh Thuan province. The competition will take place from June 7th to 9th, 2023.
