Attending the festival were comrade Dinh Cong Sy, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for Culture and Social Affairs; representatives of provincial departments, branches and sectors; leaders of communes in the old Phu Yen and Bac Yen districts; Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Thu Cuc commune, Phu Tho province and Thuong Bang La commune, Lao Cai province, and a large number of people inside and outside the commune.

Muong Coi commune was established on the basis of merging the communes: Muong Thai, Muong Coi and Tan Lang. After the merger, the commune has 4 ethnic groups including Muong, Kinh, Mong, Dao living together. The ethnic diversity has created a rich and vibrant cultural treasure. The Muong Coi ethnic cultural festival is a combination of many unique cultural, sports and tourism activities, honoring precious cultural values.

Besides its cultural value, Muong Coi is also proud to be a land blessed by nature, the capital of sweet fruits, especially oranges - the main fruit tree of the locality. Currently, the whole commune has nearly 550 hectares of oranges, cared for according to organic and VietGAP processes.

The 1st Congress of Muong Coi Commune Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, identified 3 breakthroughs, of which the key breakthroughs are: Developing green, clean, and circular agriculture associated with community tourism and agricultural tourism; consolidating and improving citrus fruit growing areas, protecting and developing the "Phu Yen Orange" brand.

The 2025 Muong Coi Orange Festival is the starting event to implement the set goals with the determination to convert the entire growing area to strictly apply organic and safety standards to ensure quality, food safety and traceability; renovate the entire citrus fruit growing area that is showing signs of degeneration to increase productivity and product quality; strive to build a model for developing agricultural tourism and community tourism, turning orange gardens into not only production places, but also attractive destinations for tourists. The festival is also an effective bridge, contributing to promoting Muong Coi orange products closer to the market and consumers, affirming their value and increasing people's income.

The festival will take place on December 7 with activities such as: Competition in decorating and displaying products and models made from oranges; competition in folk games; experiencing the cultural space of ethnic groups and enjoying local agricultural products; and experiencing visiting safe, organic orange gardens in the commune.
