Training legal knowledge, skills and mediation expertise for grassroots mediators

On December 5 and 6, at the multi-purpose hall of the Provincial People's Committee Guest House, the Department of Justice organized the second conference to train legal knowledge, skills, and mediation expertise for grassroots mediators for commune-level units selected as pilot points for the implementation of the Project "Improving the capacity of grassroots mediators for the period 2024 - 2030".

The Department of Justice organized a conference to foster legal knowledge, skills, and mediation expertise for grassroots mediators.

At the conference, nearly 200 mediators at the grassroots level in Long He and Sop Cop communes studied and learned the following topics: Law on Mediation at the grassroots level; skills in mediating disputes and violations of the law in the field of marriage and family; procedures for recognizing successful mediation results at the grassroots level; basic rights and obligations of citizens; and gender-sensitive mediation at the grassroots level.

The conference aims to build, consolidate and improve the capacity of the grassroots mediator team, creating motivation to promote innovation, creativity and increasing efficiency in grassroots mediation work, meeting the requirements of society in the new period, making practical contributions to economic , cultural and social development, continuing to build and perfect the socialist rule of law state of Vietnam.
