The team of doctors, dentists, and volunteers from the PVF organization provided dental check-ups and treatment for students from preschool to junior high school, donated toothpaste and toothbrushes; screened eyesight, donated eyeglasses to students and the elderly; performed electrocardiograms and ultrasounds... At the same time, they awarded 50 scholarships and gifts to students and families in difficult circumstances; each scholarship worth 1 million VND.

According to the plan, from September 8th to 11th, the program will be held in four communes: Thoi An Hoi, Dai Hai, Ke Sach, and Nhon My. During this time, doctors will conduct health checkups, eye examinations, and consultations on treatment methods; and provide free eyeglasses and medicine… to approximately 400 residents and students.

Ms. Le Thi Thanh Giang, President of the Union of Friendship Organizations of Can Tho City, emphasized: This is a meaningful activity, contributing to sharing and accompanying families and local authorities in the work of caring for the health of students, people with disabilities, and people in difficult circumstances. Through this program, we aim to strengthen friendly relations and cooperation between the people of Can Tho City and the people of other countries and overseas Vietnamese, contributing to the development of their homeland.
