Vietnamese Family Day June 28 is an occasion for us to honor the good traditional values of Vietnamese families - the origin of love, compassion and sustainable moral qualities. This year, the theme "Happy Family - Prosperous Nation" was chosen not only to have symbolic meaning but also to demonstrate a consistent orientation of the Party, State and the whole society in affirming the central position of the family in the sustainable development of the country.
This year, Dak Lak province is honored to be chosen as the host of this important event. This is not only a cultural activity to celebrate Vietnamese Family Day but also an opportunity to promote the image of the Central Highlands, a land rich in identity, affection and loyalty - where 49 ethnic groups live together, together cultivating strong family values through many generations.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has urgently advised the Provincial People's Committee to issue Plan No. 137, dated June 13, 2025 on coordinating the organization of "Vietnam Family Day 2025" in Dak Lak province; closely coordinating with the Vietnam Exhibition Center for Culture and Arts and related departments and branches to synchronously deploy activities within the framework of the festival.

The Department has also directed its affiliated units to arrange venues to organize exhibitions and sideline activities of the festival; carefully prepare for the opening and closing ceremonies of "Vietnam Family Day 2025"; organize exhibitions of Dak Lak province in "Vietnam Family Day 2025"; select typical families to exchange and meet with the theme "Keeping the fire of happiness"...
During the "Vietnam Family Day 2025" from June 25 to June 29, 2025, many main contents will be organized, including: Photo exhibition "President Ho Chi Minh and Party and State leaders care for, build and develop Vietnamese families; Photo exhibition on "Family culture in the community of Vietnamese ethnic groups", "Family culture of the ethnic community in the Central Highlands"; Photo exhibition on the theme: "Loving family", propaganda posters to practice a civilized lifestyle; reading books with children on the theme "Family reading - connecting love"; Exchange program to meet typical families; Art exchange program "Family joy", "Fragrance of the highlands"...
In particular, organize the introduction, display and sale of products, stimulate shopping in 2025 including: consumer goods for families; high-quality agricultural products and specialties; handicraft products; OCOP products of regions; introduce and promote culinary culture with traditional cakes, diverse, unique and quality dishes.
The family is the cell of society - the place where personality, morality and core cultural values of each person are formed. In the context of our country's strong integration, facing many development opportunities, the solidarity and sustainability of each family is the foundation for building a strong, humane and prosperous nation.
To build a prosperous, equal, progressive, and happy family, each family member - whether grandparents, parents, or children - needs to play the role of a "positive nucleus". First of all, each person must know how to live responsibly, love, respect, and share with each other. Small actions such as a greeting, a family meal, or patient listening are also the glue that binds family relationships together.
In addition, in a modern family, gender equality and the role of women and children also need to be properly recognized and truly guaranteed. A happy family cannot lack consensus in the division of responsibilities, fairness in care, education and creating conditions for the development of each member.
