Khanh Hoa plans to organize Sea Festival 2025

The Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2025 is expected to take place over 3 days (June 7-9, 2025) with the theme "Khanh Hoa Sea and Island Cultural Heritage Space".

Khanh Hoa province is building a plan to prepare for organizing the Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2025 (Sea Festival 2025).

According to the draft plan, the 2025 Sea Festival is expected to take place over 3 days (from June 7 to 9, 2025) with the theme "Khanh Hoa Sea and Island Cultural Heritage Space".

In addition to the three main events taking place at 2-4 Square, Nha Trang City (opening ceremony; Carnival program "Come here with the sea"; closing ceremony), within the framework of the 2025 Sea Festival program, there are also about 60 major activities, notably the Cau Ngu Festival; Bird's Nest Festival; Agarwood Festival; Ao Dai performance festival; international beach volleyball tournament; international golf tournament; sea sports tournaments; Sculpture camp in the South Central Coast - Central Highlands region...

Currently, the Department of Culture and Sports of the province is coordinating with departments, branches, units and localities to urgently supplement and complete the organization plan, program framework of activities in the 2025 Sea Festival, budget estimates for organizing activities... to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and approval.

One of the requirements when organizing the 2025 Sea Festival is to improve both the scale and quality of some activities in the program; research and develop an art program that connects the community; carefully prepare to successfully organize festivals and major sports competitions in the 2025 Sea Festival program...

First held in 2003, Nha Trang Sea Festival is held every two years, considered a special occasion to bring together cultural and artistic activities, promoting traditional and contemporary cultural beauty. At the same time, promoting, preserving and developing the cultural values ​​of Nha Trang tourism .

Each theme of the festival expresses different messages such as Nha Trang - rendezvous, Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa - civilized and friendly, Nha Trang - Colors of the sea... However, most of the Nha Trang Sea Festivals focus on praising the beauty and strength of our country's sea and islands, the beauty of Nha Trang Bay, the long-standing cultural traditions of Khanh Hoa...

The most recent time in 2023, Nha Trang Sea Festival attracted 150,000 overnight guests, including about 16,600 international visitors; more than 450,000 visitors to entertainment attractions with room occupancy rate reaching over 78.8%. Total tourism revenue is estimated at nearly 550 billion VND.
