Khanh Hoa: Some schools temporarily stop students from going to class to avoid flooding

On December 4, due to prolonged heavy rains and the risk of flooding in many areas of Khanh Hoa province, educational institutions in Khanh Hoa province proactively notified students to temporarily stop going to school to ensure safety.

Specifically, all 14/14 schools in Dien Khanh commune (Khanh Hoa) have announced that students will be off on December 4 , including 4 kindergartens, 5 primary schools, 3 secondary schools, 1 high school, and 1 vocational school.

In Dien Dien commune, 8/8 schools also proactively informed students to stay home from school. In the ward West Nha Trang Schools that allow students to stay home include: Vinh Trung Kindergarten, Vinh Trung Primary School, Cao Thang Secondary School, Luong Dinh Cua Secondary School, Luong The Vinh Secondary School, and Nguyen Dinh Chieu Secondary School.

According to Some school leaders said that due to Heavy rain from the night of December 3 to the morning of December 4 caused flooding on many roads. Currently, the water level continues to rise, although it has not yet flooded the school grounds, but it is necessary to temporarily suspend the students to ensure safety in the context of complicated rain and flood developments like recently .
