Hanoi revokes high school diploma of one candidate who cheated on exam

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training (DET) decided to revoke the high school diploma of candidate NVK, a former student of Dan Phuong High School, for using a cell phone in the exam room and cheating on the exam.

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training has just decided to cancel the exam results, revoke and cancel the high school graduation certificate of one candidate after the announcement of the investigation security agency, Hanoi City Police.

Specifically, this decision was issued for NVK, born in 2007, former student of Dan Phuong High School, exam session on June 26, 2025 with registration number 0109492*, exam room number 3909.

Previously, this male student was granted a high school diploma by the Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training with the number: T04742981; certificate registration number: B25/023/013327, date of issue: September 23, 2025.

According to the decision of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, the reason for revoking and canceling the high school diploma is that candidate NVK used a phone in the exam room, cheated in the exam; violated point b, clause 4, Article 21 of the Exam Regulations and point a, clause 1, Article 25 of the Regulations on management of diplomas and certificates according to the announcement in Official Dispatch No. 6891 of the investigation security agency, Hanoi City Police.

Within 30 days from receiving the decision, NVK candidates must return their high school diploma to the Department, according to the regulations of the Diploma Management Regulations.

At the same time, Dan Phuong High School is responsible for notifying NVK candidates of this decision and adjusting information in the archived records of the High School Graduation Exam on June 26, 2025 at the school.

The Examination Management and Education Quality Assessment Department of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training is responsible for canceling the results of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, revoking and canceling the 2025 graduation certificates of NVK candidates; adjusting the information in the original records kept at the Department about the High School Graduation Exam session of June 26, 2025 and reporting to the Ministry of Education and Training according to regulations.
