After being discovered, the man immediately ran away from the examination room. Immediately after the incident caused a stir online, the Central South University of Economics and Law issued a statement confirming the incident.

The school also quickly worked with the student, surnamed Li, and learned that she had hired someone to take the exam for her through an online platform. According to the school's violation handling regulations, the student is facing the risk of being forced to leave school due to exam cheating.
