Inauguration of Phuc Minh Center for Support and Development of Inclusive Education

On the morning of September 2, the Phuc Minh Center for Support and Development of Inclusive Education held an inauguration ceremony and came into operation. Attending the ceremony were comrade Pham Dong Thuy, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Department of Education and Training.

Phuc Minh Center for Support and Development of Inclusive Education is a private educational institution. The target students are children aged 11 and older who have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.   The center is equipped with modern facilities to effectively meet the needs of intervention and support students to improve their cognition through functional school education, develop labor skills and appropriate career orientation; balance emotions through activities that help regulate physical and sensory functions such as sports, painting, music . The educational program at the center focuses on education of survival skills and independent living, helping students confidently integrate into life in the long term.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Director of the Department of Education and Training hoped that the Center would not only be a place for teaching, but also become a loving home, where each student can live in understanding, sharing, and care, a place that inspires the belief that each student, despite being disadvantaged, can still shine in their own way.   The center is required to strictly comply with legal regulations during its operations; constantly innovate and improve professional quality; expand cooperation to replicate the inclusive education model in the area.
