Launching the tourism program "Luc Ngan Lychee - The quintessence of Vietnamese fruit"

In order to introduce and promote lychee and other fruits and specialties of Luc Ngan, attract tourists to visit and contribute to the local socio-economic development, in June 2025 - the lychee season, Luc Ngan district (one of the lychee capitals of Bac Giang province), will organize a tourism program.

Coming to the Program, visitors can experience many exciting activities: picking lychees, bundling fruits, cutting stems, preserving in ice buckets, packing in styrofoam boxes according to lychee export process; preparing dishes and drinks from lychees (lychee bitter melon soup, stir-fried lychees, lychee steamed with shrimp, lychee smoothie, lychee tea, lychee bread, wine and lychee honey vinegar...).

At the same time, visitors can immerse themselves in the exhibition space, introducing lychee culture, with objects serving the harvesting and packaging of lychees, tools and machines used for production, harvesting and processing of lychees. The district also focuses on introducing methods of grafting, grafting and crossbreeding lychees; lychee varieties being grown in Luc Ngan, guiding visitors with useful agricultural knowledge, introducing the flavors of fruits and specialty goods.

Within the framework of the program, visitors can participate in cultural and artistic exchange activities with strong identities such as flute playing, then singing, tinh lute playing, etc. In addition, visitors can camp, fish, cycle, row boats, explore the culture of ethnic minorities, enjoy roast pork, hill chicken, shrimp, fish, lychee honey, visit Cam Son lake (a place known as a miniature "Ha Long Bay"), etc.

In addition, in the Program, the locality selected 10 typical lychee growing models and organizations and individuals with many contributions in building the brand and products of Luc Ngan lychee to honor; organized the Luc Ngan lychee costume contest 2025 (expanded).

A representative of the People's Committee of Luc Ngan district said that the Luc Ngan Lychee - Quintessence of Vietnamese Fruits tourism program aims to welcome more than 100,000 visitors to Luc Ngan, contributing to promoting lychee products and creating a highlight in the district's tourism development.

To prepare for the Program, many gardeners and cooperatives have built rest huts, tables and chairs, and arranged fans to serve tourists... Luc Ngan District surveyed and selected tourist destinations, cooperatives, and gardeners with beautiful scenery, production according to VietGAP and GlobalGAP processes with large areas, abundant fruit, convenient transportation, friendly and enthusiastic hosts in communes such as Tan Son, Giap Son, Ho Dap, Tan Moc... to organize to bring visitors to experience.

In 2025, the lychee growing area of ​​Luc Ngan district will be more than 10 thousand hectares, of which more than 6.9 thousand hectares of lychee will apply VietGAP standards, with an estimated output of 60.5 thousand tons, with harvest time from early June to late July. The whole district has 60 lychee growing area codes for export with an area of ​​more than 6 thousand hectares.

With its outstanding quality, over the years, Luc Ngan litchi has become a famous brand at home and abroad, protected by trademarks and geographical indications in 8 countries (China, the United States, Japan, Australia, Korea, Singapore, Laos and Cambodia). Luc Ngan litchi is exported to over 30 countries and territories; highly appreciated by consumers for its outstanding quality, ensuring food safety and loved and trusted, awaited every summer.
