According to the Danish Embassy, the Denmark in Your Eyes 2025 painting competition is part of a series of activities towards the 55th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Denmark diplomatic relations, which will be held next year.

The contest is co-organized by the Vietnam – Denmark Friendship Association (VIDAFA) and the Embassy of Denmark, and is open to all Vietnamese students from primary to secondary school. The deadline for submission is December 20.

This is a joint effort to raise awareness and inspire climate action through creative means.

Danish Ambassador Nicolai Prytz said: "This competition is not just about drawing, but also an opportunity for students to freely imagine a more beautiful world , and at the same time affirm that such a world can absolutely become a reality. I am very excited to admire the works from students from all over the country and share with them their own stories about the journey of living green and protecting the planet."

The winners will be announced and awarded at the award ceremony which will take place at the end of the 2025-2026 school year in Hanoi .

"Green Living" is not just about big initiatives, but starts with small, thoughtful choices in daily habits - turning off lights when not in use, carrying cloth bags when shopping, walking or cycling short distances, or planting trees.

These small changes, when implemented by many people, can create a meaningful and lasting environmental impact. Through this year’s theme, the competition encourages students to reflect on how even small efforts, when spread across the home, school and community, can drive positive change for the future of our planet.

The contest is also a forum for students to express their ideas, aspirations and commitments to environmental protection.
