Arousing the spirit of dedication and social responsibility of Tay Ninh journalists

Participating in the 23rd Tay Ninh Provincial Press Awards in 2024 are 54 works by 32 authors (groups of authors). Of which, Tay Ninh Radio and Television Station has 22 works by 24 authors and groups of authors registered to participate in the contest. The Selection Board selected 18 works by 15 authors and groups of authors to submit to the contest, including 7 radio works and 11 television works. Tay Ninh Newspaper has 32 works by 17 authors and groups of authors. All participating works are in accordance with the regulations and guidelines set out.

In general, in terms of content, it shows that Tay Ninh press over the past year has approached and reflected social life more closely, deeply and practically. This is a welcome step forward, truly having an impact on improving the quality of information and the quality of press activities of the province.

The team of reporters are willing to roll up their sleeves and come into contact with reality, boldly enter difficult places and work seriously, to have truly quality works. The works provide accurate information, have a solid revolutionary viewpoint, compare objective information, have many sources, have social criticism, are convincing, and attract readers, listeners, and viewers inside and outside the province. The results of the 23rd Tay Ninh Press Awards in 2024 clearly reflect that.

Looking through the works that won high prizes, we see many works from both newspapers and radio stations on the topics of party building, new rural construction, and changes in Tay Ninh. Fighting to protect the Party's ideological foundation, refuting the distorted and incorrect arguments of hostile forces. Besides reflecting typical collective and individual examples in studying and following Uncle Ho, the articles also boldly bring to light the negative and existing issues. The work Spring in the Waves and Winds by author Vu Nguyet won a special prize.

There have been a number of works that have exploited good topics, addressing issues of public concern such as: Creating a source of party members from school, Settling down and working in a new land, the author has found a new way in the old topic and solved the problem... All of the above works have clearly demonstrated the dedication, sense of social responsibility and civic duty of Tay Ninh journalists.

Based on the scoring results, the Jury and Organizing Committee selected 25 winning works, including 01 Special Prize, 03 First Prizes, 05 Second Prizes, 06 Third Prizes and 10 consolation prizes in the categories of print and electronic newspapers; radio and television.
